Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Specialized therapy for children with motor planning challenges for speech.
What Is Childhood Apraxia of Speech?
Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder where children have difficulty planning and coordinating the movements needed for speech. Unlike articulation disorders, CAS affects the brain's ability to send the right signals to the muscles used in speaking. Our therapists are trained in specialized techniques for treating CAS.
